5th Class have been working on a project on ‘The Great Famine’

Over the past few weeks, in Ms. Breen’s fifth class, we have been working hard on the topic of The Great Irish Famine in history, English and art classes. In English we are reading the novel Under the Hawthorn tree, which we linked with art and drew charcoal ketches with depictions of scenes from the famine.
